Each episode sees Danny Robins and paranormal experts Evelyn Hollow and Dr Ciaran O’Keeffe turn detective and investigate a historical haunting from classic cases like ghosthunter Harry Price’s infamous enquiry into Borley Rectory, and Britain’s most violent poltergeist, the Black Monk of Pontefract; to lesser-known ones, such as the nightmarish Sandown Clown on the Isle of Wight, and America’s original UFO abduction story, the Barney and Betty Hill Incident.
The Cold Cases team will pore over all the elements that have made these paranormal stories endure, sometimes over centuries, and put them under the magnifying glass. Danny will bring some of the most head-scratching, terrifying moments from the cases to life, telling the stories in his trademark terrifying style, and then the team will discuss the phenomena and look for possible explanations for what happened. Can the Uncanny team make sense of these strange cases that have haunted history?
