This concept trailer reimagines the legendary franchise for 2027, casting Ryan Gosling as Michael Long, an undercover federal agent who uncovers a terrifying truth buried inside a defense contractor called Prometheus Systems. After a kill order leaves him for dead, he is rebuilt by FLAG and paired with KITT, the Knight Industries Tactical Titan, a fully sentient AI housed inside a 2026 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S E Performance with a holographic avatar brought to life by Rami Malek. Anthony Hopkins commands the screen as Devon Knight, the man who spent decades preparing for the day AI would turn against the very people it was built to protect. Every frame of this What If concept was designed to feel like a real movie announcement, and the storyboard and all visuals were personally created by me from the ground up.
On the other side of the war stands Dr. Elena Voss, played by Natalie Portman, a brilliant architect who sees total machine control not as tyranny but as humanity’s only real salvation. With Prometheus racing toward full national activation and KARR unleashed as a ruthless hunter rebuilt from an earlier FLAG prototype, Michael and KITT face an enemy that owns every camera, every drone, and every autonomous vehicle on the road. This Knight Rider reboot concept explores a bond between man and machine that becomes the last line of defense against a system designed to cage an entire nation.
